What's New

Wee Timorous Beasties:

These, the smallest of my little bears, range in size from 2½ inches to 3½ inches tall.  They are hand crafted from Schulte mohair, wool, real fur or upholstery velvet.  They, like their larger relatives, have German, hand blown, glass eyes and are stuffed with cotton batting weighted with steel shot.  Each is designed to have an endearing face to go with their diminutive size.  They reside in a variety of interesting places, baby shoes, demitasse cups and the occasional wine glass.  Every once in a while, I find one of them sound asleep in a child's toy tea cup or the arms of one of the bigger bears in the Ursa Minor family.

Rose and Snow Ball (below) are both Bartholomew bears and measure in at 3.5".  Rose is pink mohair and Snow Ball is made from rescued and recycled shaved white rabbit.
$85
Bem Beyaz (which means Stark White in Turkish) is 3.5" tall, has wobble joints and is made from re-cycled, shaved rabbit fur.
$200
Star Spangle is made from a lush scarlet and silver glitter embossed velveteen.  She is fully jointed and stands 3" tall.
$75

Abigail Jillian ("AJ"), (below left) and Abigail McClary ("AM"), (two pictures below right) are wobble-jointed darlings measuring 3½", stuffed with glass beads weighted with buck shot.  "AJ" was designed and named for my grand-niece as a present for her very first birthday.

The antique diamond necklace in the picture was a first birthday gift for Jelly Beans, as her parents lovingly call her.  It is not for sale and definitely is not included in Abigail's $75 price tag.  I'm sorry about that but you will just have to buy your own diamonds.

"AM", right, was designed and named for the daughter of very dear friends.  At 18, Abbey was killed in a car accident.  She was a stunningly beautiful and sweet-natured young woman who left a huge hole in the hearts and lives of all of us who knew and loved her.  For $5 extra dollars, this Abbey comes in a winged version.
